The United States is a big country, so there are plenty of mountain bike trails
out there. The question is, which ones truly rock?
Boyett Park in Tampa, FL sports a course with variations for all ranges of bikers.
There is a 13 mile course for the beginners, a 6 mile course for intermediate riders
and an 18 mile course for the experts. It is open year round for anyone looking
for a great trip.
Then there is the Flat Rock Ranch trail in Comfort, TX. This boasts a 300 foot elevation
in the course and is considered to be rather difficult. This trail is also open
year round, but they do close when it rains.
Devil's Backbone in Loveland, CO has newly been opened to bikers. Originally strictly
a hiking trail, this geographical wonder is moderate in its strain on your body,
but is moderate to difficult in its execution. The trail is open from June 15th
through March 1st, but the sights are well worth the time constraints.
